Here's the transcript for the third session, it's actually honestly the shortest one of them all so it won't take that long to read

Session 3: Firestarter Part 1
![]() |
| The art for the session hand out, can you tell I had a theme going here? |
General rambling
Firestarter was probably the shortest session as one of the players ended up dropping out early. Kendall's player. so as a result, not a whole hell of a lot got done, This was however the first session where Lamas made it, so his character Jordan was introduced this session in a pretty comical fashion. In which he was introduced as a classmate of Alvin's who just happened to be present durring a scene where Kendall warded Sarah....

Session 1: Transcript
So the point of this post is to drop the paste bin link of the first session, I have to warn you, if you plan on reading it, you will get a more detailed idea of the story of the first session, but open office tagged this as a 74 page file, with over 16,000 words, so it will take a while,

Session 1: Betrayer Part 1
| The NPC character Lisa, who's art was used for the post session write up of session 1 |
Introduction
So this is where I talk about the session and Kinda sort of give my input and I guess the GM's perspective on the game and kinda give a bit of a behind the scene's look at the process that went into writing it. I'll drop a transcript of the Roll20 room chat as a separate post, because it'll probably have to be in a drop box document, or a Google document.
I started writing this session, honestly before I had an idea who was going to be playing in my game. Well Except for Druby, the player of Alvin, as he talked me into running it, I honestly didn't even know what the characters were going to be, the only real "Requirements" I had at this time, was I wanted a UGN agent of some form, and I needed 1 player to play a high school student. I actually rewrote the session notes once I had an idea who going to play what.
Now originally, I was planing for about 5 players, but I only ended up with three, one player never showed up, and a second player had to miss the first two sessions of the game due to family problems, so I had to really do an on the spot rewrite, and some scenes were droped.
So at this point, I originally was going to have, a Private Eye, a High school Student, his English teacher, and a UGN agent as my party (they fight crime), as well as a fifth player who didn't present me with a concept at that point, and he was the one who didn't make it. Furthermore the person who was going to play the private eye... Well never showed up to play, and thus was dropped after session 2, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
An Introduction from the author
So after some prodding from a couple
people over at #Doublecross on Irc.Rizion.Net, I have decided to go
ahead and start up a replay blog about my ongoing Double Cross game.
Double Cross, for those of you who
don't know, is a Japanese Table Top RPG published in Japan by written
by Shunsaku
Yano, and published in Japan by the publishing company F.E.A.R..
The game was translated and published by Ver. Blue Amusement in north
America.
The version of the game we got here in
the states, is the third edition of the game, and the core rules book
is actually the first two books of the game line published as one
larger book.
Getting back to the point here as of
the time this blog is posted, the campaign is 17 sessions in, and 13
scenarios long, a few of the scenarios ended up being split into two
parts, due to the medium the game is being ran on, Roll20, or because
of time constraints.
Unlike allot of the replays of the game
that are put up, this won't be a novelization of the campaign, I
really don't have the talent for it, instead it's mostly going to be
posting my post session logs from the game, with some thoughts and
musings from me looking back at the game itself. I also plan on
ripping out the chat logs from the Roll 20 room, and after some
editing to cut out the OOC stuff, will post those as well so you can
see the actual dialog being said at the time without allot of OOC
distractions.
That being said, enjoy the ride, and
drop questions in the comments that you guys come up with as I try to
put the campaign down to paper.
